[Remote] Communication Analyst

The role involves reviewing recordings for compliance and identifying potential unlawful activities, while also ensuring proper escalation of issues as needed.ResponsibilitiesReview calls from a correctional agency and meet targeted requirements with the ability to recognize key words, phrases, cryptic messages, slang/gang terms and other hidden messages and disseminateExamine and analyze a variety of call recordings and escalate intelligence regarding victims, and persons suspected of violating statutes, policies and/or procedures, or program requirements administered by the assigned agencyWatch multiple video sessions from a Facility at the same time and ensure all requirements are met for the visitDecide based on what is seen in the video to take action on the Visit and ensure proper escalation is handled if neededExamine and analyze a variety of call recordings and respective intelligence regarding improper or unlawful activities including but not limited to - resulting in the diversion of controlled drugs, assault or any other bodily harm (physical or sexual), weapons location, cell phone location, escape, and suicideImmediate notification to Investigations Manager and/or Other Guarded Exchange senior staff to include but not limited to eminent danger, child abuse, elderly Abuse, kidnapping, staff involvement with offenders, staff misconduct, and any staff sexual contactListens to or reads through material in one language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaningProofread translated material for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy and return it in the required formatPerforms other related work as assignedSkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to multitaskComputer literate, specifically in Microsoft Office and Google SuitesFunctional typing skillsDetail oriented with specific emphasis on listening skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality relating to work performedAbility to work in a secured team environmentExcellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errorsBachelor's degree in criminal justice, Business Administration, or related disciplineAbility to communicate effectively in second languageBenefits$255 to purchase company equipment (keyboard, monitor, headset, etc.)Health Insurance401(k)DisabilityLife InsurancePaid Time OffVoluntary BenefitsCompany OverviewAventiv is a diversified technology company that provides innovative solutions to customers in the corrections and government sectors.
