[Remote] Commercial Appraiser, Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HCA Asset Management is a consulting and appraisal firm offering inventory and appraisal services to clients throughout the United States. They are seeking a Commercial Appraiser who will be responsible for inspecting commercial buildings, pricing using collected data, and interfacing with clients to discuss project scope and findings.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Inspecting commercial buildings and collecting data on structure characteristics
ā¢ In-office pricing using collected field data and industry-standard methodologies
ā¢ Interfacing directly with clients to discuss project scope and findings
ā¢ Working with senior team members to hone appraisal skills and produce client deliverables
ā¢ Conducting field inventory of client movable equipment and assets

ā¢ Be 100% committed to delivering the best experience to HCA Clients
ā¢ Be a critical thinker, and thrive on learning new things

ā¢ Travel for assignments, including out-of-state, 50%-70% of the time
ā¢ Hold an associate's degree or higher or similar work experience
ā¢ Have a high level of expertise in Excel
ā¢ Construction cost estimating, or prior commercial appraisal experience
ā¢ Claims Adjuster (Property, Vehicles, Equipment, etc)
ā¢ Engineering or blueprint reading
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in a related field
ā¢ Property Insurance Underwriting and/or Claims (commercial preferred)
ā¢ Knowledge of Water / Wastewater Industry
ā¢ Experience in Public Entity operations
