The role involves optimizing cloud spending, driving FinOps adoption, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain financial governance and reporting.ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize financial operations within the Azure cloud environment, focusing on cost management, budgeting, and forecastingDrive FinOps adoption and maturity by working with key stakeholders to embed financial/cost management (FinOps) practices into their day-to-day operationsDevelop and enforce financial governance policies and procedures for Azure resourcesCollaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain financial dashboards and reportsImplement cost-saving strategies and identify opportunities to maximize return on investment (ROI) for Azure servicesConduct in-depth cost analysis to identify cost drivers and areas for improvementAssist in the development of financial models and scenarios to support strategic decision-makingEnsure compliance with corporate financial policies and regulatory requirements related to cloud spendingProvide training and support to team members on Azure cost management tools and best practicesStay current with the latest Azure cost management tools, services, and industry trendsSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or experience in a related field1-3 years of relevant experienceExperience with Azure cost management toolsStrong understanding of cloud financial governance and best practicesExperience with public cloud financial components/concepts, e.g. cost & usage reports, reserved instances, savings plans, committed use discounts, enterprise discount programs, spot pricing, etcExperience with financial reporting and dashboard tools, such as Power BIKnowledge of cloud infrastructure, services, and pricing modelsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on cost efficiency and optimizationStrong data analysis and reporting skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsAzure Data Explorer (Kusto), SQL, Power Query/DAX, PowerShellFinOps Certified Practitioner or relevant Azure certifications (e.g.: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure FinOps, Azure Cost Management)Love of technology, data and automationBenefitsCoverage related to medical, dental, vision, disability, and lifeRetirement savingsPaid sick leavePaid vacation (or other personal time)Paid parental leavePaid time off for purposes of bereavement, voting, and/or attendance at naturalization proceedingsCompany OverviewWe are one of the world’s leading professional services firms, uniting our engineering, advisory and science-based expertise to shape communities to advance humanity.
