[Remote] Cloud Devops Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong AWS experience to join a growing team focused on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure. The role involves designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability and security across cloud environments. Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and scalability • Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud-based solutions • Implement security best practices and compliance standards within AWS environments Skills • 3+ years of experience in Cloud/DevOps engineering with a focus on AWS • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM) • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages • Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401k • PTO • Holidays • Sick leave as required by law Company Overview • At Piper, we obsess about the success of our customers and consultants.
