The role involves migrating products to a unified AWS environment while implementing monitoring and automation to minimize incidents. Responsibilities • Executing complex infrastructure transitions, including migrations from legacy environments to AWS cloud platforms and lift-and-shift operations • Creating monitoring strategies and developing automation for monitoring systems, deployment pipelines, and operational processes • Conducting system monitoring, backup operations, incident management, database migrations, database configuration, and cost reduction initiatives • Establish reliability and consistency across cloud infrastructure within our expanding product portfolio through implementation of comprehensive monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices Skills • Extensive AWS infrastructure expertise (this is our core platform - experience with other cloud providers alone is insufficient) • Demonstrated ability scripting with Python and Bash for routine administrative operations • Proven experience managing and migrating production databases across multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL) • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation) • Expert-level Linux systems administration skills Company Overview • Crossover is a global recruitment company, founded in 2014.
