[Remote] Cloud Application Support, ease Cloud Accounting Services (Remote Opportunity)

MNP is a leading national accounting, tax, and business advisory firm in Canada, seeking to enhance its ease Cloud Accounting Services team with a Cloud Application Support professional. The role focuses on executing client implementations, supporting data migration to cloud applications, and improving integration methodologies while ensuring client needs are met. Responsibilities Execute implementations and convert client files from desktop applications (e.g., QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50) to cloud accounting applications (e.g., QBO, Xero, Sage Business Cloud) Support chart of accounts mapping from the legacy system to the new application Identify data quality issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and discuss with onboarding team to develop resolutions Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve MNP’s cloud accounting integration methodology Work collaboratively with the ease Onboarding team to meet client requirements Monitor and manage support request inboxes Skills Accounting certificate or a bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting, finance or management information systems (MIS) major is considered an asset) Experience executing accounting system implementations; conversion experience moving from desktop-based products to cloud applications is preferred Knowledge of the bookkeeping process Experience working with desktop-based small business accounting packages, including QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50 and/or other legacy desktop products Experience working with cloud-based accounting packages is considered an asset (e.g., QBO, Xero, Sage Business Cloud) Advanced experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Image editing software (i.e., GIMP, Snag It) Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset Benefits Generous paid time off including 4 personal days Firm sponsored social events A group pension plan with 4% matching contribution Voluntary savings products Bonus program eligibility A wellness subsidy Health and dental benefits Mental health resources Exclusive access to perks and discounts Professional development assistance Learning opportunities through MNP University A flexible ‘Dress For Your Day’ environment Company Overview MNP is an accounting, tax and business consulting firm that provides various strategies to public, private and not-for-profit sectors .
