Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing real-time data entry support for our clinical trials, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. As a key member of our clinical research team, you will work closely with our researchers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data management and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Transcribe source data into various electronic data capture (EDC) systems per protocol requirements and following established standards, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail. Verify the integrity of data by comparing it to source documents, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner. Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs), good clinical practice (GCP), and other applicable regulatory requirements in the execution of all EDC activities, maintaining compliance and adherence to industry standards. Respond to queries within EDC systems in a timely and professional manner, providing clear and concise answers to stakeholders. Assist the clinical research team with quality controls (QC) of patient files per established standards, ensuring the highest level of data quality and integrity. Prepare and scan documents into EDC systems and databases, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Collaborate with the clinical team to prepare for onsite monitoring visits for each study protocol, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required, with a strong foundation in data entry and administrative support. High attention to detail, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy and precision. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with strong self-motivation and discipline. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Desired Skills and Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a clinical research or healthcare setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of research EDC systems preferred, including Veeva Vault, Medrio, IBM, OpenClinica, Medidata RAVE, and other industry-standard platforms.
