Job Summary We're seeking an entry-level Remote Clerical Assistant to join our team, providing administrative support, data entry and management, customer service, document management, and special project assistance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in healthcare administration and contribute to the success of our organization. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support: Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely and professional manner. Manage electronic calendars, schedule appointments, and meetings with accuracy and attention to detail. Prepare and distribute reports, documents, and correspondence with precision and confidentiality. Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter patient information, demographics, and insurance details into our electronic health record system. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Customer Service: Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and feedback with empathy and professionalism. Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and mail, ensuring patient satisfaction and loyalty. Document Management: Scan, file, and maintain electronic documents with precision and attention to detail. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies regarding document management. Special Projects: Assist with projects, events, and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Requirements and Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: 0-2 years of administrative experience; experience in healthcare administration or a related field preferred. Skills and Competencies: Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with electronic health records (EHRs) preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Certifications/Licenses: Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA) or Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) preferred. What We Offer Competitive Compensation: $45.00 - $60.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
