The role involves guiding customers in identifying floor plans, selecting options, and coordinating the construction process while maintaining a high level of integrity and collaboration within the team. Responsibilities Protect the Clayton Homes branding and assets by maintaining a high level of integrity throughout the sales process Develop expertise in areas such as finance mortgage concepts, product, sales acumen, sales presentation skills and your local market Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the company’s CRM system Assist manager by helping select inventory, decorate models and maintain appearance of the homes Develop, refine and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home center traffic Present potential buyers display homes, demonstrate features and benefits to create added value Set home center visits utilizing prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments Participates in all sales meetings, training opportunities and other company sponsored functions Cooperative and collaborative, willing and eager to work in a team environment, assist with miscellaneous duties as required Skills At least 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred General understanding of the retail environment Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing Strong verbal communication skills Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays Professional demeanor and appearance Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons Benefits Flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package Competitive 401K programs including investment options and company matching for full and part time team members after one year Paid parental leave Employee Assistance Programs Paid time off Paid holidays Paid time for Team Members to volunteer to causes that are meaningful to them through the Clayton Impact program Holistic wellness with physical, nutritional, social, financial, spiritual and occupational programs Company Overview Founded in 1956, Clayton is committed to opening doors to a better life through homeownership.
