They are seeking a Claim Advisor, Auto to join their Maritimes team, responsible for reviewing insurance policies, investigating complex automobile claims, and settling claims in accordance with organizational policies.ResponsibilitiesReview insurance policy and coveragesInvestigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liabilitySettle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practicesRequired to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcementSkillsMinimum high school education or equivalentAdjusting License Level 1 or equivalent1 - 3 years handling complex automobile claims is requiredKnowledge in understanding and interpreting policiesCommitment to providing outstanding customer serviceProficient keyboard skills and computer literacyEnrolled in (or willing to enroll in) CIP designationCompany OverviewAllstate is an insurance company that offers car, home, and life insurance services.
