Remote Chief Security Officer

Accountabilities • Develop and execute tailored security strategies for each client. • Advise clients on security policies and governance structures. • Lead risk management and incident response initiatives. • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities. • Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA. • Serve as a key leader during security incidents. • Assist clients in building comprehensive security programs. • Manage long-term client relationships and align security strategies. • Stay updated on emerging threats and industry trends. • Advise clients on security technology investments. Requirements • Minimum of 10+ years in information security, with 5 years in a senior role. • Experience across diverse industries and understanding of sector-specific risks. • Proven ability to develop comprehensive security programs. • Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001. • Hands-on experience with security tools like firewalls and SIEM. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; a master’s is a plus. • Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred.
