[Remote] Chief Financial Officer ( (Equity based, Aftermarket Automotive, AI)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Revilo Technologies is building the mobile-first operating system for automotive services. As the founding Chief Financial Officer, you will architect the financial engine of a category-defining marketplace and partner directly with the Founder/CEO on strategy, fundraising, and growth. Responsibilities • Lead all financial aspects of fundraising (pre-seed, seed, and beyond): narratives, models, data rooms, and diligence • Partner with the CEO to refine our funding strategy, capital structure, and runway planning • Build and manage investor relationships, from early angels and family offices to institutional funds • Own the financial model for Revilo: marketplace take rates, unit economics, pricing, and long-range planning • Design and maintain budgets, forecasts, and scenario plans that reflect reality—not just slides • Translate marketplace dynamics (supply, demand, conversion, retention, CAC/LTV) into clear, actionable insights • Stand up our finance stack from scratch: accounting systems, reporting cadence, cash management, and controls • Oversee GAAP-compliant financials, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and audit readiness as we scale • Implement thoughtful policies for spend, procurement, and working capital • Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Partnerships on pricing, packaging, and monetization experiments • Support go-to-market strategy with clear financial insights around payback, cohort behavior, and channel performance • Help design the revenue model across emergency services, scheduled maintenance, subscriptions, and AI-powered offerings • Evaluate M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and geographic expansion with a rigorous financial lens • Build ROI frameworks for investments in technology, growth, and operations • Serve as a key voice in board-level strategy conversations and long-term planning • Build and lead a high-performance finance and operations team over time (FP&A, accounting, revenue ops) • Establish a culture of clarity, accountability, and transparency around numbers and performance • Be a trusted partner to the CEO and executive team—someone who can challenge, refine, and strengthen decisions Skills • Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent senior finance leader in a high-growth startup —ideally in tech, marketplaces, mobility, fintech, or SaaS • Strong fundraising and investor relations track record (equity, convertibles, SAFEs, cap tables, and board engagement) • Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning skills for early-stage companies • Deep understanding of SaaS and marketplace metrics: ARR/MRR, retention, churn, CAC/LTV, cohorts, and unit economics • Hands-on operational finance experience: cash flow management, working capital, accounting systems, and reporting • Expert knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), compliance, and audit practices • FP&A excellence, including dashboards, KPI frameworks, and performance reporting for leadership and investors • Ability to partner with GTM teams on pricing, billing, revenue optimization, and customer acquisition • Comfort with AI, automation, and modern finance tools to streamline workflows and accelerate decision-making • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—you can explain complex financial realities simply and persuasively • Demonstrated leadership and team-building experience, with a track record of hiring and developing strong talent Benefits • High-upside equity • Competitive base salary • Performance incentives • Continued equity participation Company Overview • Our platform offers features like: • On-Demand Car Repairs: From oil changes to mobile mechanics. • Real-Time Diagnostics: Virtual car health checks.
