[Remote] Chief Compliance Officer & CEO – Wealth Management Education| Remote

Acumen Strategy is building a next-generation Compliance & Wealth Management Education platform aimed at becoming a trusted institution for advisors and compliance professionals. They are seeking a senior executive with deep roots in wealth management compliance to lead this initiative as CEO. Responsibilities • Establish the organization as a credible, trusted industry institution • Lead strategic partnerships with RIAs, compliance firms, custodians, and industry bodies • Help shape and recruit a Standards & Ethics Board and Industry Advisory Council • Guide the long-term vision, positioning, and industry alignment of the platform • Work closely with an EdTech COO who runs day-to-day operations and delivery • Act as the external face of trust — with regulators, partners, and senior stakeholders Skills • Served as a Chief Compliance Officer, senior regulator, or equivalent industry authority • Earned trust across RIAs, aggregators, custodians, and compliance firms • Built relationships that open doors — not just sold products • Operated comfortably at the intersection of regulation, education, and business • Former CCO, regulator, or senior compliance leader in the US wealth management ecosystem • Deep understanding of RIA regulation, fiduciary standards, and compliance frameworks • Strong industry relationships and name recognition • Business-savvy, partnership-driven mindset • High integrity, sound judgment, and long-term reputation focus Company Overview • Acumen Strategy is a consulting and growth enablement partner built exclusively for wealth managers, RIAs, and advisory firms.
