Remote Chat & Email Support Specialist
The Remote Chat & Email Support Specialist provides responsive, high-quality assistance to clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams through chat and email communication. This role helps ensure smooth operations by handling inquiries related to project information, documents, schedules, and general company services. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with architectural terminology and workflows. Responsibilities • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming chat and email inquiries from clients, consultants, and internal staff. • Provide accurate information about project status, documentation, scheduling, and coordination needs. • Assist with distributing project-related documents such as drawings, specifications, RFIs, addenda, and updates. • Direct inquiries to the appropriate project managers, architects, or administrative personnel. • Maintain clear, organized records of communication and follow-up actions. • Assist with basic troubleshooting related to file access, shared platforms, or document downloads. • Support digital platforms used by the architecture firm (such as Newforma, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint, Procore, or similar tools). • Ensure consistent customer service standards and timely resolutions. • Escalate complex issues to senior staff when necessary. • Contribute to improving communication templates, FAQs, and client support workflows. Qualifications • Experience in customer support, chat/email support, or administrative assistance. • Familiarity with architecture, engineering, or construction industry terminology preferred. • Strong written communication skills with clarity and professionalism. • Ability to manage multiple conversations and prioritize urgent requests. • Comfortable working with project documentation and digital tools. • Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable in follow-through. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with clear accountability.
