Referral Coordination: Accurately compile and transmit referral documentation to specialists, confirming receipt and maintaining a clear line of communication throughout the referral journey. Patient Messaging & Communication: Review inbound patient messages within AthenaHealth, respond professionally, and triage urgent concerns to the appropriate clinical staff. Prescription Refill Processing: Verify refill requests, cross‑check dosage and patient history, and complete orders in accordance with practice protocols and state regulations. Outbound Patient Calls: Conduct follow‑up calls to address medication questions, appointment reminders, and post‑visit instructions, reinforcing the practice’s commitment to patient education. Document Management: Organize, label, and archive patient records within the EMR, guaranteeing that all documentation remains current, accurate, and easily retrievable. Phone System Oversight: Manage inbound call routing, field general inquiries, and provide a courteous, solution‑focused experience for every caller.
