Remote Certified Medical Assistant (3rd Shift)
MedStreamline is seeking detail-oriented and patient-focused **Remote Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs)** to join our healthcare team. You will monitor patient vitals online, provide real-time alerts to healthcare providers, and assist with virtual patient care coordination. This role is central to our mission of transforming senior healthcare through proactive, technology-driven monitoring.
ā¢ *Shift Options**
We are hiring full-time Remote CMAs for the **3rd shift Weekdays**: Tuesday - Saturday, 12 AM - 9 AM EST. MedStreamline is located in Greenville, SC and candidates must live in either ***Eastern or Central Time Zones***.
ā¢ *Remote Work & Technical Requirements**
To ensure patient privacy (HIPAA compliance) and operational continuity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
ā¢ **Dedicated Home Workspace:** A private and secure home office area free from background noise and distractions. The workspace must have a door that can be closed to ensure HIPAA-compliant conversations
ā¢ **High-Speed Internet:** A reliable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload)
ā¢ **Equipment:** MedStreamline will provide a company-issued laptop
ā¢ *Responsibilities**
ā¢ **Vital Monitoring:** Track heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels through remote patient monitoring (RPM) systems
ā¢ **Clinical Escalation:** Identify abnormal readings and escalate critical alerts to the Director of Nursing (DON), Wellness Director, or physicians immediately
ā¢ **Care Coordination:** Communicate with CNAs and other medical professionals to ensure timely interventions
ā¢ **Compliance:** Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and company security policies
ā¢ *Candidate Profile**
ā¢ **Certification:** Active CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), or CCMA (NHA) is required.
ā¢ **Experience:** 2+ years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant; Remote Medical Assistant experience preferred.
ā¢ **Technical Savvy:** Proficiency with Google Workspace and MS Teams; ability to troubleshoot basic software issues.
Experience with RPM software preferred
ā¢ **Soft Skills:** Strong time management, excellent verbal/written communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
