Remote Captioners and Interpreters
Job Overview

Captioner Duties
Certified captioner with 2 years’ experience captioning and 1 year program management experience scheduling captioners and connecting technology for large agencies or businesses. Must have demonstrated success at other agencies and have the following skills/competencies:
• Ability to work within a changing schedule
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and full understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements.
Interpreter Duties
Certified interpreter with at least 3 years interpreting experience and 1 year coordinating interpreters for a large and fast paced organization; must have:
• Ability to work within a changing schedule
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong Signing and voicing skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds (customers, colleges, and management)
• Understanding of Deaf culture
