Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
Process Coverage Determination Requests within CMS Timeframes
Effectively communicate pharmacy benefits verbally and in writing
Maintain strong attention to detail while multitasking in a high-demand environment
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Pharmacy Retail, PBM, Hospital, or Managed Care
Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
Knowledge of prescription drug names, therapeutic classes, and claims processing
Understanding of Privacy Regulations
Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Medicare Part D Experience
Contact Center Experience
Knowledge of CMS/NCQA regulations
Understanding of pharmacy claims processing
Education and Certifications:
High School Diploma required
2 years of college preferred
