About the Role This is a fully remote opportunity, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of a dynamic team that's shaping the future of healthcare. As a Remote Call Center Representative - Walgreens Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of patient data entry, resolving third-party rejects, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Utilize Walgreens's prescription data entry methodology and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering data into the appropriate system. Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Research and obtain missing prescription data, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Handle inbound calls, visits, and messages from patients, and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed. Resolve third-party rejects by assessing, gathering information, creating claims, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as necessary. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or GED. Basic level PC skills, including the ability to start and shut down a computer, use a mouse, and access data online. Basic web browser skills, including the ability to open a browser, type URLs, and complete online forms. Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing documents). Effective written and verbal communication skills. Being at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications While not required, having the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: At least 1 year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment. A minimum of 1.5 years as a pharmacy professional with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacies or a widely recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer care to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing documents). Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
