This role involves assisting members through various channels, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive service experience while adhering to the Credit Union's core values.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing efficient and timely service to the membership via phone, mail, facsimile, as applicableProvides basic member service transactions, with quality and accuracyConsults with membersIdentifies needs, offers solutions, and follows up on any pending transactionsHolds conversations that matter with members either in person or over the phoneRecommends other products and services such as ancillary products as appropriate from having conversations that matter with membersPerforms various duties including but not limited to: Opening all new Member Accounts; Savings, Checking, Money Market, Trust, Certificates, and IRACompletes all appropriate forms such as Account Cards, Certificate Application and Agreement, Trust Application and Agreement, and Certificate of TrustRecommends other products and services as appropriate from having conversations that matter with membersPerforms a wide variety of account maintenance including but not limited to changes of address, name changes, adding/updating account set up, adding/updating joint owners, adding/updating beneficiaries, closing accounts, processing deceased accounts and notary servicesIdentifies and reports any suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activityCompletes all required training and compliance modulesTreats all co-workers and members with respectSupports and participates in continuous improvement activitiesRepresents the Credit Union in a positive and professional mannerMaintains member and other sensitive information with confidentialityOther related duties as assignedSkills1 year retail experience with a proven track record in meeting and or exceeding service and sales goalsBasic understanding of financial products and servicesProfessional verbal skills and etiquetteCompetent computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel), remote signing and ability to work and operate a webcamExcellent follow upStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and anticipate member needsExcellent Written skills (Email) – Grammar and SpellingMember service and organizational skillsWork well with other departments – Team playerGenuine interest in helping members through Conversations that Matter and have an empathetic and caring natureWillingness to make a differencePersonable and professionalHigh School Diploma or equivalentBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLife InsuranceFlexible Spending Account401(k) MatchingPaid Time OffTraining ProvidedTuition ReimbursementCompany OverviewOur Nuvision team is honored to serve our 150,000 plus members and provide exceptional service, best-in-class products, and great member experiences.
