- Handle inbound calls to respond to consumer inquiries and issues
- Provide education and updates on previously submitted pre-authorizations or pre-determination requests
- Meet performance goals related to efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first-call resolution, and attendance
- Own and resolve customer issues effectively
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy during customer interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience with the same employer
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Goal-driven and detail-oriented mindset
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in a healthcare-related customer service role
- Familiarity with healthcare pre-authorization processes
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts between 10 am and 11 pm
