Remote California Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney ($180K+ annual compensation)
A well-regarded civil litigation firm in Calabasas, California, that represents a major insurance company in insurance defense matters seeks a REMOTE attorney with 2 to 6+ years of relevant litigation experience who can work on a contract (hourly) basis and can commit at least 30-35 hours per week. This is a long-term position.
Candidates' experience should include drafting demand letters, propounding and responding to discovery, legal research, motion writing, and taking and defending depositions. Trial preparation and trial experience, as well as mediation experience, are helpful but not required.
Again, the firm prefers candidates who want to bill 30-35+ hours per week. Opportunity for full-time hours.
Generous hourly compensation of $100-$110/hour to start (depending on experience), paid on a contract (1099) basis. (The hourly rate equates to $180K+ annually assuming a full-time schedule.)
A California bar license is required.
