As a Business Services Representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting job placement for clients within the employer community, developing direct hire employment opportunities, and contributing to the mission of accelerating the human condition. Key Responsibilities Liaising with Employers: Establish and maintain strong relationships with employers to obtain job leads and understand their hiring needs. Job Opportunity Development: Identify and develop job opportunities for clients, working closely with Career Navigators and training providers to ensure a seamless experience. Client Support: Interview Job Seekers to assess their skills and match them with suitable job openings, providing support throughout the placement process. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date job and employer data banks to inform strategic decisions and optimize job placement efforts. Event Planning: Design and conduct job fairs and other community events to bring together employers and job seekers, fostering connections and driving employment opportunities. Community Engagement: Work on-site approximately 80% of the time, engaging with local communities, employers, and job seekers to promote Career TEAM's mission and services. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED; degree in a related field or equivalent experience is a plus. Proficiency in multiple languages (bilingual or multilingual preferred) to effectively communicate with diverse clients and employers. Experience in public relations, technical writing, training, and coaching, with a proven track record of establishing effective working relationships. Knowledge of workforce or government-funded programs, as well as applicable laws and regulations governing employment services. A valid Driver's License, with the ability to travel as required for on-site work and community events. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, employers, and colleagues alike. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience in job placement or a related field, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in workforce development. Familiarity with innovative technologies and solutions driving employment outcomes. A background in community engagement, event planning, or a related area, with a proven ability to design and execute successful events.
