[Remote] Business Intelligence Data Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst role focuses on developing dashboards and reports, performing ad hoc analysis, and collaborating with senior team members to translate business needs into data-driven insights.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain dashboards and operational reports using enterprise BI toolsRespond to ad hoc reporting requests and assist stakeholders in accessing and interpreting dataAssist in gathering and documenting business requirements, KPIs, and reporting logicWrite SQL queries to retrieve and prepare data for reporting and analysisPerform exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and business insightsApply visualization best practices to create clear, intuitive dashboards that support decision-makingEnsure reports follow established design standards, usability principles, and visualization best practicesDocument data sources, calculations, and assumptions supporting reports and dashboardsPartner with senior BI team members to validate metrics and ensure accuracy of outputsCommunicate findings and recommendations in clear, non-technical languageMaintain and update existing reports, dashboards, and reporting datasetsSkillsBachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics) preferred or comparable work experience0-2 years of experience in a reporting/analytics discipline, preferably with a business intelligence teamFoundational SQL skills including the ability to write queries to retrieve, join, and summarize dataExperience building and maintaining reports and dashboardsExperience working with BI and data tools (Tableau, SSRS, SSMS, Snowflake preferred)Analytical problem solver who has a strong comfort with ambiguity, high attention to detail, efficient time management, technical aptitude, and desire to exceed expectationsProven ability to consistently meet deadlines and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to quickly build credibility and trust with internal customersBenefitsCompetitive Medical, Dental, and Vision benefitsRetirement plans with optimal company matchAnnual bonus/merit opportunityEducational AssistanceMental Health support programM.O.R.E.
