[Remote] Business Immigration Law Attorney

Consilio LLC is one of the largest and fastest growing global legal services businesses, and they are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Immigration Attorney to join their team on a contract basis. The role involves handling a range of business immigration matters, ensuring compliance, and providing legal counsel on immigration laws and procedures. Responsibilities • The attorney in this role will focus on a range of business immigration matters, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing • Review documents on immigration matters to flag potential issues and ensure files are complete • Identify materials relevant to specific cases and assist in the preparation and filing of various nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions (p. 1) • Assist with cases across core corporate categories, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1 visas, PERM labor certifications, and EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 I-140/I-485 petitions • Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining precision and compliance with government regulations and internal protocols • Communicate effectively with clients regarding case processing and procedural issues, providing expert legal counsel on immigration laws and procedures • Conduct thorough legal research and draft complex legal briefs as needed for various case types Skills • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active admission to a U.S. state bar, in good standing, is required • A minimum of 2+ years of dedicated business immigration experience is mandatory • Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively with competing demands are essential • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and concise communication with both internal teams and clients • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a remote setting • Experience in a law firm setting or with similar high-volume environments is strongly preferred Benefits • CV-enhancing work with global brands • No limits • You call the shots • You’re never on your own • Our Ways Of Working help shape who we are and what we do • We’re global Company Overview • Consilio stands as the global leader in eDiscovery, document review, flexible legal talent, and legal advisory & transformation consulting services.
