[Remote] Business Development Manager - US South

SERCO Loaders is a manufacturing company located in Two Harbors, MN, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to help expand their business in the Southeastern US. The role involves maintaining and identifying new business opportunities, increasing sales, and forming strong relationships with dealers and customers. Responsibilities • Report to the Director of Sales • Maintain current dealer/customer relationships and identify new dealers in area of responsibility • Contact potential dealers to establish a business relationship. Directions will be provided by the Director of Sales • Provide training and present new products to dealers and end users • Follow up by phone and email with dealers to close new business opportunities and increase brand recognition • Stay on top of market developments, researching the latest in the trends industry including storm cleanup, logging, rail. Create/identify new opportunities to expand business • Attend conferences, meetings and industry events, such as trade shows and assists in the setup as required • Must use CRM SalesForce, as instructed by the Director of Sales. There are no exceptions to this • Always maintain a professional demeanor and deal with challenges in a calm and logical manner • Ensure dealer communication is clear and concise and that dealers are always aware of the status of their requests. Return calls promptly to both dealers and management at Serco Skills • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or related field • Five (5) years minimum of proven sales experience in heavy equipment sales, with a preference for those that have dealership and A frame loader experience • Ability to express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely in writing and verbally • Strong understanding of company products and services • Market knowledge based on previous experience • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Ability to develop deep relationships with our key accounts • Time management and planning skills • Ability to travel with minimum notice and a willingness to travel up to 2 weeks per month, some weekend travel may be required • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SalesForce CRM software required • Five (5) years of proven sales experience in heavy equipment sales preferred Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • Group life • Voluntary life • STD • LTD • Vacation • Paid holidays • 401(k) • More Company Overview • Serco Loaders a world leader in the design and manufacturing of knuckleboom loaders, providing the right equipment for customers who work to transform their business and revolutionize an industry.
