[Remote] Business Applications Associate

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Blue Cross NC is seeking a Business Applications Associate to support the implementation of packaged system software. The role involves identifying business requirements, configuring software, and assisting in process design and system testing. Responsibilities Serve as the point of contact for an existing application area, including data definitions, usage and file structure, technical structure of the code and the business rules, and structure of requirements that govern the functionality of the system Support the business area and technology areas in planning and implementing Packaged Software changes Assist in the development of Packaged Software modification requirements and Interface Design Specifications Configure necessary tables in Packaged Software to support the specific business area Establish and maintain simple Packaged Software configuration With direction, perform all necessary discovery and fact finding to fully understand and execute routine assignments Participate in the identification of best practices, communicate and implement these practices within the department Effectively communicate development and production issues to the project team, business owner, and/or the manager in a timely manner Develop and maintain auditing tools using Excel(VBA), SQL, Etc Create functional testing requirements and review test designs Assist in designing solutions that support business needs Support business by performing related audits Skills Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) 0-2 years of experience in related field In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related field Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage along with numerous health and wellness programs Parental leave and support plus adoption and surrogacy assistance Career development programs and tuition reimbursement for continued education 401k match including an annual company contribution Company Overview It's an exciting time to work at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC).
