We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team at Boomerang Transport, a nationwide medical transportation company. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, processing payments, and ensuring timely invoicing. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and work-life balance, with a schedule of 6-10 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Weekly invoicing and payment processing Management of accounts receivables and collections Financial statement reconciliation and maintenance of accurate transaction records Assistance with ad-hoc projects for our Founders and VP of Operations Support with annual 1099 issuance and development of accounting policies and procedures Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or relevant bookkeeping experience Location: North Carolina (required) Availability: Mondays and at least one other day per week Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, bolthires Sheets, and Gmail Experience with bolthires Apps suite (Sheets, Maps, Docs, Drive, Calendar, etc.) Dedicated home office space and reliable equipment (computer, cell phone, internet, headphones) What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Flexible schedule and remote work arrangement Opportunity to grow your career with a nationwide medical transportation company How to Apply: If you're a motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional looking for a part-time opportunity, please submit your application today.
