We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from the Northeast region. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in driving success through your expertise in accounting and financial management. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine accounting tasks, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, data maintenance, and financial statement generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare weekly and month-end closing journal entries accurately and timely
Perform period-end account reconciliations accurately and timely
Maintain ERP system, including data input, coding expenses, and verifying data
Assist with preparation of internal controls and audit activities
Prepare predefined or ad hoc reports for management
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
1 year of demonstrated experience in Bookkeeping
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to manage sensitive data and maintain confidentiality
Prior experience with RTP accounting systems (Oracle preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
