Remote Bookkeeper and Tax Prep
Job Title: Remote Bookkeeper (Tax Experience Preferred) At SnapBooks Corp. We’re looking for an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper who’s comfortable managing multiple clients, handling cleanup projects, and supporting our tax team during peak seasons. What You’ll Do • Manage bookkeeping for 8–10 small-business clients (20–30 hrs/week) • Perform cleanups, transaction entry, and monthly reconciliations • Prepare year-end books and assist with tax prep support (data entry, document review, 1099s, sales tax, etc.) • Help the tax team during busy season to ensure accurate, timely filings • Convert clients from Wave to QuickBooks Online as needed What We’re Looking For • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience (Required) • 5+ years of QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) experience (Required) • Strong understanding of tax preparation workflows • Experience preparing books for CPAs, EAs, or tax preparers • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Preferred) • U.S. work authorization (Required) Compensation • $25–$30 per hour • Flexible remote schedule • Additional hours available during tax season Why You’ll Love Working Here At SnapBooks, we combine professional excellence with genuine warmth.
