[Remote] Billing Coordinator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Waste Solutions Canada is one of the largest independent management companies for waste and recycling services in Canada. The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for auditing vendor invoices, creating client invoices, and answering billing-related questions while collaborating with the financial team.ResponsibilitiesAudit vendor invoicesRead and understand hauling service contractsCreate client invoices at contracted pricingAnswer billing-related questions from clientsWork collaboratively with the Financial Controller, Billing Manager, and all other Waste Solutions Canada team membersVarious finance duties and ad hoc project work as neededSkillsAccounting-related degree or diploma and 1+ year of equivalent experience preferredDriven to maintain high standards in all tasksAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment, shifting priorities on short noticeExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with knowledge of other Microsoft Office software (Word, OneNote, etc.)Experience working in accounting software (Xero preferred)Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesBenefitsBenefits and Retirement: Choose from one of our Benefits Plan and RRSP matching options.Perks: Enjoy company events, volunteer hours, celebrate your birthday with a day off, a wellness benefit, and other perks!Company OverviewWaste Solutions is the leader for tech-enabled management of waste and recycling services in Canada.
