[Remote] Bilingual Disability Calculation Analyst

Manulife is a leading international financial services provider, and they are seeking a Bilingual Disability Calculation Analyst to join their CAF Long Term Disability Team. This role involves managing CAF LTD claimants' files, including claim approvals, benefit adjustments, and various financial duties. Responsibilities Long Term Disability claim approvals Benefit Adjustments and recovering benefits overpaid Financial duties such as stop payments, voids, refund deposits, Garnishments, processing TD1s and calculating employment income offsets on a frequent basis Other related tasks Skills Excellent communication skills oral and written in French and English is required Post-secondary education in Accounting, Commerce or Finance Experience with accounting, finance, payroll, bookkeeping, benefit payment or related duties in an administrative/clerical role would be an asset however University / College graduates would also be considered Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook / Office 365 Knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance terminology would be an asset Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec Excellent organizational skills Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills with strong mathematical aptitude Analytical skills with a close attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Deadline driven Knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance terminology would be an asset Strong customer service experience in a demanding environment would be an asset Insurance claims knowledge or experience Knowledge of Group Benefits Military Terminology Benefits Health, dental, mental health, vision, short- and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance coverage, adoption/surrogacy and wellness benefits, and employee/family assistance plans Various retirement savings plans (including pension and a global share ownership plan with employer matching contributions) Financial education and counseling resources Generous paid time off program in Canada includes holidays, vacation, personal, and sick days Full range of statutory leaves of absence Company Overview Manulife is a leading international financial services group that helps people make their decisions easier and lives better.
