[Remote] Associate Insurance Sales Agent

They are seeking Associate Sales Agents to assist clients with their insurance needs through inbound calls, focusing on products like Renters Insurance and Classic Car insurance.Responsibilities90% Handle inbound calls for multiple products with no prospecting or cold calling10% outbound calls to follow up on existing quotesEstablish a good liaison with our client's customers while selling Renters Insurance, Classic Car insurance and other insurance productsAdopt and develop strategies while meeting departmental monthly sales goalsTrack and monitor personal results to meet monthly sales and key performance goalsFollow underwriting requirements and corporate policies while negotiating salesNavigate a computerized data entry system, internet, and/or other relevant applications for tracking, information gathering, troubleshooting and transaction processingComplete mandatory licensure continuing education and other training sessions as appropriateRemain positioned and well informed of changes implemented that affect your workOur sales center is open from 8AM to 10PM ET on weekdays and 10AM to 5PM ET on Saturdays. Individuals will have the ability to earn earlier shifts through our quarterly, performance-based shift bid processSkillsHigh school diploma or GEDOne (1) plus year of sales related experienceOne (1) plus years of call center and/or insurance experienceCandidate must be bilingual in English and SpanishSolid computer, grammar, and multi-tasking skillsProperty & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license or be willing to obtain one of these licensesAbility to become appointed/licensed as a non-resident agent in all applicable statesStrong analytical, listening, problem-solving, and negotiating skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with a commitment to excellenceAbility to prioritize tasks with shifting deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization internally and externallyBilingual in English and Spanish a plusCompany OverviewAssurant provides protection products and related services to safeguard companies against risks.
