They are seeking an EDI Onboarding Associate to join their Group Protection Operations Team, responsible for delivering EDI onboarding and implementation assignments while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a superior onboarding experience for customers.ResponsibilitiesYou will monitor EDI requests and ensures timely responses in gathering necessary information, addressing questions, and providing appropriate layouts/file formats for EDI processingYou will act as a liaison between Account Management, internal EDI resources, and third-party partners to ensure all stakeholders understand optimal policy setup, per EDI guidelines, to facilitate efficient automation and onboardingYou will participate in pre- and post-sales calls with brokers and customers; outlines pros & cons of onboarding approach in terms of compatibility with automated EDI processing; proactively advises on potential changes in approach that can enable automationYou will implement standard inbound file feeds for both new customers and ongoing maintenance request including not limited to demographic/eligibility filesYou will coordinate with internal EDI resources and third-party partners to validate appropriate file configuration and ensure successful initial & on-going transmission and processing of filesYou will provide ongoing File Support to installed customers, including technical troubleshooting for Level 2 File Support requestsYou will act as a testing resource for general strategic initiativesYou will work with the third-party benefit administration partners to expedite resolution of any escalated file issues; collaborate with partners to research root causes and recommend improvements to processes/file formats to avoid future issuesIdentify, recommend, and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality while supporting and promoting change management and departmental/enterprise initiativesSkills1+ Years of experience in EDI processing and automation directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role OR 1+ Years of experience in Group Protection in customer facing roles directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this roleAbility to communicate effectively (verbal/written)Demonstrated strong customer service experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions and work with concepts such as averages and/or variances4 Year/Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt as neededBenefitsClearly defined career tracks and job levels, along with associated behaviors for each of Lincoln's core values and leadership attributesLeadership development and virtual training opportunitiesPTO/parental leaveCompetitive 401K and employee benefitsFree financial counseling, health coaching and employee assistance programTuition assistance programWork arrangements that work for youEffective productivity/technology tools and trainingCompany OverviewLincoln Financial (NYSE: LNC) helps people to confidently plan for their version of a successful future.
