Remote Assistant Legal Counsel

Accountabilities • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies. • Conduct legal research and analysis to support contract negotiations and resolve legal issues. • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement and finance, to provide legal guidance. • Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies. • Manage and execute processes for resolving contract disputes and unpaid fees. • Provide legal support in various areas including litigation and employment law. Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • 5-7 years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation, preferably in an in-house setting. • Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles. • Proven ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. • Experience managing litigation and negotiating disputes. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience in risk management and compliance.
