Remote Answering Service Dispatcher – Afternoons & Midnights Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Location: Remote (Work From Home) Available Shifts We are hiring 3 operators for the following shifts: Afternoon / Evening Shift • Between 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (EST) • 7 days per week availability • Full-time or part-time Overnight / Midnight Shift • 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM (EST) • Approximately 14 hours per week Applicants must be able to work consistent, scheduled shifts. Pay • $13.50 per hour during training • $14.00 per hour after training • Paid weekly (cash) Job Description We are a family-owned professional answering service seeking reliable and experienced answering service dispatchers/operators. This is a remote, work-from-home position handling inbound calls, message taking, and dispatching on-call personnel. Prior answering service or dispatch experience is strongly preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Responsibilities • Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously • Follow detailed, client-specific scripts and instructions • Dispatch on-call personnel when required • Accurately document and relay messages • Identify emergency vs. non-emergency calls • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism Requirements • Prior answering service, dispatch, or call center experience preferred • Strong, reliable high-speed internet connection (required) • Good computer skills and comfort using multiple systems at once • Ability to type accurately and navigate software efficiently • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure • Quiet, private work-from-home environment • Dependable attendance and punctuality • Comfortable working independently Experience with TeleScan or similar answering service systems is a plus.
