Key Responsibilities
Ā Conduct assigned courses within the Pharmacy Technician program.
Ā Facilitate engaging bi-weekly live sessions via Zoom for each course.
Ā Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate office hours and individual student meetings, ensuring personalized support.
Ā Provide prompt and constructive feedback on assessments, quizzes, and projects, guiding students in their learning journey.
Ā Actively engage with at-risk students to offer mentorship and improve their academic success.
Ā Maintain precise records of student performance, including progress and attendance, and submit final grades in accordance with university policies.
Ā Participate in faculty meetings, training programs, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methodologies and stay current with industry trends.
Ā Execute other duties as assigned in alignment with faculty responsibilities and university guidelines.
Required Skills
Ā Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ā Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships in both individual and group settings.
Ā Ability to collaborate efficiently within a team environment to achieve departmental objectives.
Ā Proficiency in virtual tools and software such as MS Office, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, Zoom, and more.
Qualifications
Ā An Associate degree in a health-related field is preferred.
Ā PTCB Certification is mandatory.
Ā A minimum of 3 years of hands-on pharmacy technician experience is required; experience with sterile compounding is advantageous.
Ā Previous online teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
