Ā Develop and implement interactive activities to maintain student engagement throughout their learning journey.
Ā Create and curate relevant instructional content, including video materials, in line with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Ā Utilize innovative teaching strategies to enhance student comprehension and retention.
Ā Encourage meaningful interactions and discussions among students using platforms such as YellowDig.
Ā Conduct regular outreach to students, monitoring engagement and progress via Fidelis.
Ā Attend faculty meetings and actively participate in professional development initiatives.
Ā Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute expertise to departmental projects.
Ā Achieve all annual performance metrics and teaching expectations.
Required Skills
Ā Current certification from NASM, ACSM, ISSA, NSCA, or another NCCA-accredited organization.
Ā Excellent communication and teaching abilities.
Ā Proficiency in utilizing online learning tools effectively.
Ā Creative approach to instructional and learning strategies.
Qualifications
Ā A Master's Degree in Exercise Science or a closely related discipline is preferred; however, a Bachelor's Degree paired with substantial industry experience will also be considered.
Ā A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal training or a related field.
Ā Willingness to undergo comprehensive online training prior to commencing teaching duties.
