[Remote] Accounts Receivable Representative II

The Accounts Receivable Representative II will assist with billing operations, ensuring accurate invoicing and fostering strong relationships with clients and vendors while managing customer inquiries and data analysis. Responsibilities Upload invoices to portals and review portal processing, error messages, or rejections; report bi-weekly for problem accounts Issue monthly statements via email and postal mail Monitor the case queue and assign tasks to the appropriate billing/AR representative Manage and prioritize customer shared inbox replies to address customer inquiries, and when necessary liaison with customer service to issue cases in NetSuite Manage the “customer preference update log” to ensure customer data changes are processed timely Generate and maintain reports on billing activities, including outstanding invoices and payment histories Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and forecast revenue Process Vendor Set Up cases Handle customer inquiries related to billing discrepancies promptly and professionally Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes efficiently Document all communications and resolutions related to billing issues Collaborate with internal teams to address and correct billing errors Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in billing Maintain accurate and organized records of all billing transactions and correspondence Assist in audits related to billing practices and financial reporting Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Associate's degree or college level course wear in finance or accounting Advanced knowledge of NetSuite Benefits Eligible for benefits the first day of the month after you start Tiered Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance options Health savings (HSA), healthcare & dependent care flexible spending (FSA) accounts Company paid short term and long-term disability (unless covered by a state disability plan) Company paid life insurance and AD&D 3 weeks of accrued vacation time; accruals begin on Day 1 Paid sick leave of 48 hours per calendar year Eligible employees may receive four (4) weeks paid Care Giver leave after 1 year of service or in accordance with state leave laws 401(k) plan that provides a 4% Safe Harbor company match on a 4% employee contribution that begins on Day 1 Employee Wellness and Financial Assistance Resources through Cigna and NY Life Nine (9) paid company holidays per year Overtime opportunities Company Overview Mesa Labs helps you monitor and maintain higher standards in any environment – from the air we breathe to the critical moments of life-saving care.
