[Remote] Accounts Payable II

They are seeking an Accounts Payable II to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, manage vendor inquiries, and provide training on Accounts Payable processes. Responsibilities • Experience in managing price discrepancies and resolving price block issues in GR/IR • Understanding and monitoring budget constraints and allocations related to purchases and invoices • Ability to manage and verify quantities received versus quantities invoiced • Familiarity with the process of reconciling GR/IR accounts to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies • Proficiency in generating reports and conducting analysis related to Accounts Payable to support decision-making • Strong ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or issues in AP processes • Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding issues and resolutions • Experience with ERP systems and software related to procurement and accounts payable Skills • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related business field • 0 or more years of experience in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field • Experience in managing price discrepancies and resolving price block issues in GR/IR • Understanding and monitoring budget constraints and allocations related to purchases and invoices • Ability to manage and verify quantities received versus quantities invoiced • Familiarity with the process of reconciling GR/IR accounts to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies • Proficiency in generating reports and conducting analysis related to Accounts Payable to support decision-making • Strong ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or issues in AP processes • Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding issues and resolutions • Experience with ERP systems and software related to procurement and accounts payable • Master's degree in accounting, Finance or a related business field CPA • 2 or more years of experience dealing with internal/external customers • Results oriented, excellent communicator with business acumen to resolve issues with a sense of urgency • Working knowledge of SAP (systems, applications and processes) and/or related software packages • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Able to understand complex information Company Overview • Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
