[Remote] Accounts Payable (A/P) and Treasury Specialist

The Accounts Payable and Treasury Specialist will manage accounting and payables systems, process invoices, and assist with financial operations and audits to support the firm's practice.ResponsibilitiesHandle all aspects of accounts payable for a growing organization providing community-scale renewable energy servicesProcess invoices and manage payables systemReview mailed and emailed invoicesManage invoice entry via StampliEnsure proper coding and required approvalsUpdate Sage Intacct for new projects and vendorsMaintain accurate W-9s, payment terms and banking detailsPrepare weekly payment runs and process ACH, checks and wire paymentsAssist with administration of audit processReconcile accounts payable general ledger accountsRespond to vendor inquiries in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with the Company’s established accounts payable controlsMaintain a complete and auditable invoice documentation systemPerform 1099 tracking and reportingAssist with special projects as neededSkillsMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting-related work, with preference for work experience incorporating project development and construction in some fashionOrganizational skills needed to independently manage tasks, projects and/or deliverables from assignment to completionStrong proficiency in Excel.
