Remote Accounting Associate (Part Time)
Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a RemoteAccounting Associatefor a respected nonprofit organization. This part-time, fully remote position begins in early August and offers short-term flexibility for approximately one month.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and Excel-proficient professional to provide immediate support to the Accounting department during a peak workload period. This role will focus on processing and formatting budget-related data. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, organized, and able to manage shifting priorities independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist Accounting team with budget processing and Excel formatting tasks
• Manage and organize high-volume financial data
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across spreadsheets and templates
• Support peak period workload and deliver timely results
• Collaborate virtually with finance staff and respond to shifting needs
• Ensure data integrity and adherence to internal procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including formatting and data handling
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Prior accounting or finance department support experience a plus
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This temporary role offers a pay range of $32 - $33/per hour, depending on experience.
