[Remote] Account Manager - Geology & Hydrology

The Account Manager will be responsible for growing the client base in the geology and hydrology sectors, promoting specialized testing services, and developing strategic relationships to achieve regional revenue targets.ResponsibilitiesActively identifies and develop new business opportunities across the geology and hydrology industries in the US and CanadaBuild and maintain long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients through regular engagementConduct in-depth discussions with clients to understand their 14C and stable isotope testing needs and match them with appropriate SGS Beta servicesPresent tailored service proposals, clearly communicating the value SGS Beta can provide to support client goalsDeliver presentations online or in person, adapting communication style to effectively engage diverse audiencesAttend in-person meetings and confidently communicate with key decision makers at companies and governmental institutionsManage the full sales process from lead generation to sample submissionRepresent SGS Beta at key trade shows to enhance brand visibility and strengthen industry presenceCollaborate internally to ensure smooth project handover and service deliveryMaintain accurate records in the CRM system and meet established performance KPIsProvide feedback and market insights to management to support sales strategy developmentServe as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that clients receive high-quality service aligned with expectationsUphold SGS Beta professional and ethical standards at all timesContinuously develop personal knowledge in SGS Beta services to better serve clientsSkillsBachelor's degree in science or a related field or equivalent education and experienceMinimum of 1 year of relevant experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted client relationshipsProactive, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong problem-solving abilitiesFluency in both written and spoken English is requiredDemonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract closureStrong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectivelyProficiency with CRM systems and sales management toolsExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts and initiativesAbility to analyze client needs, develop solutions, and negotiate effectivelyProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goalsAdvanced degree or professional sales certificationFamiliarity with sales forecasting and pipeline management methodologiesExperience with proposal management and RFQ/RFP processesMultilingual capabilities.
