[Remote] 3D Artist
Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 24 Seven Talent is seeking a freelance 3D artist with strong look-development and material expertise to create custom textures for branded 3D assets. The role focuses on material exploration and surface realism, requiring the development of a premium, soft, dimensional texture for product interaction. Responsibilities • Create a custom fuzzy / fiber-based 3D material from scratch • Explore 2–3 texture approaches (procedural, shader-based, or hair/fiber systems) • Refine surface detail, density, and lighting for a polished, on-brand look • Apply the texture in context (e.g., can resting on or within the surface) • Deliver assets optimized for stills and short motion loops (if needed) Skills • Strong background in 3D look development, materials, and surface texturing • Experience creating tactile materials (felt, velvet, microfiber, fur-like textures) • Proficiency in Cinema 4D (Redshift/Octane), Blender (Cycles), and/or Houdini • Solid understanding of lighting and rendering for material realism • Portfolio with close-up material or surface studies Company Overview • 24 Seven partners with companies to get marketing, creative, and digital work done by providing the right talent, innovation, and insights.It was founded in 2000, and is headquartered in Newport Beach, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
