Overview Position Summary: The Institutional Review Board (IRB) Specialist will coordinate the implementation and management of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) related efforts. The incumbent acts independently in carrying out tasks relevant to IRB and HIPAA compliance. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy of IRB applications, review of applications submitted by other research staff, and will act as a resource for any and all IRB related matters. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of regulatory/IRB experience preferred, including working knowledge of FDA regulations and regulatory compliance. Basic knowledge of Medical terminology and Good Clinical Practices. Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor's or AA degree in Health related field including course work in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, medical records, and information management. Clinical Research Certification may be considered as substitute for degree requirement. SoCRA or ACRP Certification preferred. Pay Scale Information USD $49,504.00 - USD $89,107.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
