Registered Pharmacist - Hybrid Work from Home Rotation

Chewy is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our team at our Fern Valley location in Louisville, KY. As a Pharmacist for Chewy, you will be part of a team that is committed to providing outstanding care and wellness services for pet parents and their pets. In this role, you will be an integral member of the pharmacy team and have the opportunity to work in a hybrid work from... home rotation. **Responsibilities:**
Ā Opportunity to participate in a hybrid work from home rotation
Ā Interpret and verify medication orders
Ā Review prescriber medication orders to identify possible dosing, scheduling, contraindication, allergy, drug interaction, and/or incompatibility problems
Ā Communicate with Veterinarians and their staff and Pet Parents as required
Ā Oversee and direct pharmacy technicians and interns, providing ongoing training and coaching as needed
Ā Maintain necessary records to fulfill Federal and State legal requirements and pharmacy policies
Ā Uphold operational standards, including performance metrics, safety, and compliance
Ā Perform related duties and assignments as directed by management
Ā Position may require travel
Ā *Qualifications:**
Ā Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Ā Must have an active pharmacy license in the state of Kentucky with license in good standing, as well as other states and credentials as required
Ā Strong customer service and attention to detail
Ā Ability to lead a team
Ā Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ā Ability to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
