This is an opportunity to join a compassionate and supportive oncology team that provides direct and indirect patient care with a holistic, family-centered approach. What You’ll Do • Deliver high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. • Provide emotional and clinical support to patients navigating cancer treatment, including pain management, chemotherapy, end-of-life care, and body image challenges. • Safely administer chemotherapy while adhering to safety protocols and drug-specific procedures. • Educate patients and families on medications, side effects, safe handling practices, and treatment expectations. • Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team about patient condition changes, diagnostic results, and care plans. • Serve as a resource and mentor to newer or less experienced nursing staff. • Respond promptly and effectively to changing patient conditions and emergent situations. • Float to other departments as needed, with supervision. What We’re Looking For • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. • Current RN license in the state of Montana. • BLS certification required. • Oncology Nursing Certification preferred. • Completion of a Chemotherapy/Oncology course within 6–12 months of hire (must be maintained annually). • Demonstrated emotional maturity and communication skills to navigate complex, sensitive patient scenarios. • Ability to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and maintain flexibility in scheduling and assignments.
