About the positionResponsibilities
Provide competent nursing care for patients with common health problems.
Deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment.
Practice under the direction of the designated nurse executive.
Adhere to the Nursing Practice Act and Children's policies.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.
Must meet RN II clinical advancement program criteria.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN).
HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire or transfer into position.
Nice-to-haves
Experience in pediatrics, NICU and/or hospital inpatient setting.
Bilingual skills desirable.
