Registered Nurse (RN) – Psychiatric (Remote | Managed Care)
Fully Remote
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with psychiatric / behavioral health and managed care experience to support remote clinical operations in a health plan or managed care setting.
Responsibilities
• Conduct telephonic/virtual psychiatric assessments and outreach
• Support care coordination, utilization management, and treatment planning
• Review clinical information to support medical necessity and continuity of care
• Monitor member symptoms, treatment response, and medication adherence
• Provide education to members and caregivers on behavioral health conditions
• Document accurately in the EMR and managed care systems
• Collaborate with internal clinical teams and external providers
Requirements
• Active, unrestricted RN license (compact preferred)
• 2+ years psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
• Experience working in managed care, health plans, or care coordination
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote role
Preferred
• Telephonic or telehealth care management experience
• Familiarity with medical necessity criteria and behavioral health guidelines
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) a plus
• BSN
