Job Summary
This position provides coding and utilization analysis for Homecare patients and clinical staff. This job requires analytical skills and close attention to detail. All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork.*This is primarily a remote position*
Essential Functions

Ā Responsible for timely administrative review of clinical records providing OASIS and Plan of Care review for accuracy and congruency, and clinical documentation review to ensure patients admitted to the Agency meet admission criteria according to regulatory, payer and admission policies. Maximizes use of software applications to complete the review.
Ā Collaborates with team members and providers to ensure accurate clinical record documentation requirements and development of effective Plans of Care. Elevates issues appropriately.
Ā Prepares comprehensive reports of clinical record review analysis including OASIS documentation/practice patterns that may result in potential adverse patient outcomes, unfavorable percentage rates in the Quality of Patient Care process, outcome and utilization measures.
Ā Provides education to team members for clinical record documentation requirements.
Ā Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Ā This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Ā Education - Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Ā Experience - Two (2) years post-acute care experience. Medicare Certified Home Health experience preferred.

Ā Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
Current OASIS certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ā Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel)
Ā Knowledge of clinical electronic health records
Ā Ability to maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational sessions and reviewing professional publications.
Ā EPIC experience preferred.
